I’m not the best at looking after myself when I’m having a bad day, but I also know it’s important to do so. If I ignore it, as I’m prone to do, I risk letting myself sink into the abyss. Some of the things I do are take a bath, listen to music, meditate, walk on the beach, pull an angel or tarot card, talk to a close friend or family member. Those actions usually get me through it. I am a person that needs to bring awareness to why I’m having the bad day and it’s usually not because of what is happening, but what feelings I am ignoring or hiding.
