Lia, describe the neighbourhood you grew up in, what was special, challenging?

I grew up through my adolescent and teenage years in the most incredible neighbourhood. It had beautiful tree lined streets and cement paved roads, which equal perfect rollerblading surfaces. It was safe and I could walk to school. I had friends in the neighbourhood and there was even a community block party every summer. I still drive down that street whenever I’m in the area. It’s still beautiful.
