Manuscript Mondays: Five Little Indians

On this weeks Manuscript Monday Sarah recommends Five Little Indians by Michelle Good.

I highly recommend this book. It follows 5 indigenous students of the Canadian residential school system and the trauma they suffered. It was a heartbreaking story, but one that makes you reflect on all the different ways that trauma manifests into adulthood. The story is full of hope, sadness, anger, love and friendship. This book will make you cry, but it’s worth every tear.
