Manuscript Monday: The Elegance of the Hedgehog

On this weeks Manuscript Monday Lindsay recommends The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery

The ending of this book is worth every moment it takes you to get into the story at the beginning. My father-in-law’s wife gave me this book and I struggled at the beginning, as it can be very intellectual. But as you get into the characters and their lives, you are immersed in the world of their Parisian elegant apartment building. I recommended it to Meredith’s book club and apparently they weren’t that into it, so it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I loved it. It still elicits an emotional response in me when I think of the book.
