On this weeks Manuscript Monday Meredith recommends Bewilderment by Richard Powers.
A beautiful and heart wrenching book about looking for life on other planets as well as ours. No, it’s not a sci-fi—it is set here on earth. It talks about space, the spaces between us, and so much more. It’s about connections: parent-child, husband-wife, and nature. It’s about loss, perspective, understanding, and misunderstanding. This fiction combined many of my interests—neurology, nature connection, and space—while also pulling at my heart strings. It made me feel all the feels. I enjoyed it so much that I plan on reading more from this author.
