Space sake (the Japanese brewed rice beverage) is a thing, and quite popular. A group of sake brewers from the Kōchi region of Japan created Tosa Uchu-shu (Tosa Space Sake), after sending twelve yeasts (both freeze-dried and wet) and two sake rice strains over several years into space aboard the Russian Soyuz Rocket.
