On this weeks Manuscript Monday Lia recommends The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

This book is a classic. you've probably all heard or read it at some point or another. Copyright 1969, I'm sure this gem has woven its way into your childhood. It's an artistic delight of collage and holes. Thats right... HOLES. Which makes it exceptionally fun. His collage style art of food items particularly thrills me. Note, what I deem the BEST page. A delicious array of ice cream to sausage. If you haven't read this book with a child, I insist, please do.
