I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure what to expect, except that others really enjoyed it. I loved the history and magic/curse aspect of the book. It's one that makes you think about your life, relationships and what gives you joy, happiness and pleasure. It was a surprisingly fast pace book considering it was over such a long time period. I also like that the history is happening around Addie and that she is still the main story.
