Manuscript Monday: Project Hail Mary

On this weeks Manuscript Monday Meredith recommends Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.

From the author of The Martian (later adapted to the 2015 Matt Damon movie), this novel follows a high school science teacher and sole survivor of a space mission set out to save humanity. The only problem is he can’t quite remember who he is, how he got there, or why he seems to know so much about science in general. These mysteries are slowly revealed to the protagonist and reader through a series of flashbacks. The plot thickens when he discovers he’s not as alone as he once thought. The first-person narrative is sometimes humorous and full of science facts to boot. I couldn’t put this one down.
