Sarah, what person in history would you like to meet? What questions would you ask?

Updated: Jun 27, 2021

There are so many amazing people I would like to meet from history. Just pondering this question, lists of names come to mind. They are all people that made a mark on the world to improve it in some way; to make us think, love and live differently.

I just finished a book called Hungers Bride by Paul Anderson and the book is about this incredible women: Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. She was a nun, prodigy, poet, philosopher, playwright and composer. She lived during the Spanish Inquisition and died of the plague in 1695. She is endlessly fascinating. I would love to sit in her salon and listen to her debate or go to one of her plays. Just being in her presence would be incredible. They called her the Tenth Muse. She was a real feminist.

The question I would ask?? I don’t know. I think I would just want to take her in and let her tell me her thoughts in that moment and what she was currently working on.
